Poster and video submission instructions

Please find below information regarding submission and format of video recordings of your talks and posters for presentations in the poster rooms at IPMI 2021. Please note that the information applies to both oral and poster presenters, as detailed below.

We have planned the program to facilitate as much interaction and opportunity for discussions as possible in the virtual setting. For this reason, both poster and oral presenters will have booths in the three poster rooms in the IPMI 2021 virtual venue.

Note also that talks are scheduled so that speakers will talk at a time reasonable for their time zone. In addition, all talks will be prerecorded as well as given live, so it will be possible to hear the talks asynchronously and to go to a booth in the virtual venue to discuss with the presenter outside the scheduled sessions. All poster sessions run twice so that poster presenters are available in all time zones.

You can find your group at http://ipmi2021.org/poster-groups/ and the
corresponding sessions (two sessions for each group) at http://ipmi2021.org/program/

All papers will have a dedicated page at the IPMI website with paper information, link to poster and poster teaser/prerecorded oral presentation, and a discussion forum for the paper.

Oral presenters:
Your talks will be 20 minutes followed by 20 minutes questions from the audience. Additional discussions can follow during the poster session in which you are scheduled. We ask you to both give your talk live and provide a prerecorded version of the talk. Please in addition make a poster for your paper for your booth in the poster room. That is, please

  • upload a 20 minute prerecorded version of your talk
  • upload a pdf poster

and, prior to the conference, prepare to

  • give a 20 minute live version of your talk
  • answer questions regarding your paper and presentation
  • be available in the poster room during the scheduled poster group sessions

Poster presenters:
Please

  • upload a 2 minute poster teaser video
  • upload a pdf poster

and, prior to the conference, prepare to

  • be available in the poster room during the scheduled poster group sessions to present your paper and poster, answer questions and discuss your work

Before preparing your poster, please see information regarding the
